This isn't my recipe, I picked it up off Kim on this site and decided to give it a go. How hard could it be? Well one disaster later not so hard.
What You'll Need
Preheat your oven to 170c, if using a fan force oven turn the fan off else you will burn your fudge.
- 250g Dark Chocolate, a good eating brand
- 250g Butter
- Splash of Vanilla
- Cup Brown Sugar
- Cup Plain Flour
- 3 eggs beaten lightly
- 125g each of Milk and White chocolate cut into rough chunks smaller than the squares they come in
Melt the butter and dark chocolate together either via the microwave or over the stove. The butter will melt first, ensure the chocolate also melts and mixes. Use a large enough container to take the rest of the ingredients.
Add the vanilla and sugar.
Allow to cool slight before quickly adding the eggs and stirring in before the eggs can cook.
Fold in the flour and the rest of the chocolate, this can get messy ... half the fun.
Pour your mixture into a brown pan. Bang the pan on the bench a few times to get rid of any air that the folding may have introduced to the mixture.
Back for approx 25 minutes, until it kind of looks done. It'll still be pretty moist but should set as it cools.
Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan and cutting to the desired size.
